Marathon is Bungie's extraction shooter, released on 5 March 2026. You play a Runner in a shell, go into a zone, loot and try to extract. Progress means your season level, your reputation with six factions, the contracts you finish for them and the credits you hold. Ranked is a separate mode with its own tiers.
The calculator prices each order by the runs it needs. Leveling and faction reputation price by range, and the top ranks cost the most. Raid runs price per run by zone, contracts per contract, credits by amount and Ranked by the tier you start and finish on.
Self-play, where you run with the pro, costs a bit under half as much again, since the pro has to get two runners out alive.
Most of the time in an order goes into the runs themselves, and some end early in a fight with another crew.
The six factions are CyberAcme, NuCaloric, Traxus, MIDA, Arachne and Sekiguchi. Each one sells its own upgrades, from vault space and backpacks to weapon mods, implants and shell perks, and better reputation opens better stock.
Contracts are the main way to earn reputation. A faction reputation order raises one faction to the rank you pick. A contracts order clears a set number of standard contracts for whichever faction you like.
Shells matter too. Rook, the solo scavenger shell, cannot take faction contracts, so contract and reputation orders are played on one of your other shells. Tell us which shell you prefer.
Raid runs cover Perimeter, Outpost, Dire Marsh and Cryo Archive. Cryo Archive is the endgame zone and costs more. Its vaults and the Compiler are priced on chat, since sellers are far apart on them.
Marathon runs on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with cross-play. We play on all three, in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. Pick the region you play in so the pro uses nearby servers.
Seasons last a few months and reset most progress, so check the season end date before a big order.
Bungie's terms don't allow account sharing, so a piloted order is against the rules and a ban is possible. Marathon uses BattlEye plus Bungie's own anti-cheat, and Bungie has said cheaters are banned permanently.

To keep your login to yourself, choose self-play on raid runs, contracts or Ranked, where you run on your own account with the pro in your crew.
