How many games to your next rank?

A free calculator for any ranked game that uses points: LP in League, RR in Valorant, SR in Call of Duty and Overwatch.

How the math works

Every game you play moves your points up or down. Over many games, what matters is the average: your win rate times the points you gain, minus your loss rate times the points you lose. Divide the points you still need by that average and you get the number of games it takes.

Say you need 100 LP, gain 20 per win, lose 18 per loss and win 52% of your games. Each game is worth about 0.52 x 20 minus 0.48 x 18, which is 1.76 LP. That makes roughly 57 games. Raise the win rate to 60% and the same climb takes about 21 games. Small changes in win rate make a huge difference, which is why a short losing streak can feel like you are stuck.

If the average is zero or below, you won't climb at that win rate, however many games you play. In that case, focus on fewer, better games: play when you are rested, stick to two or three champions or agents, and stop after two losses in a row.

Where to find your numbers

Look at your last ten ranked games. Most games show the points you gained or lost after each match. Use the average of the wins and of the losses. Gains and losses change with your hidden matchmaking rating, so check again after a big streak. This calculator stores nothing and works the same for every game.

Quick answers

Is the result exact?

No. It is an average. Real games come in streaks, and promotion series, demotion shields or decay can add or remove games.

Why do I gain fewer points than I lose?

Your hidden rating is lower than your visible rank. Winning more often evens it out over time, and the gains grow again.

Can someone play the games for me?

Yes. Our pros play ranked on your account, or with you in duo. See League net wins or every game on the services page.
