Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has ten ranked tiers: Warrior, Elite, Master, Grandmaster, Epic, Legend, Mythic, Mythical Honor, Mythical Glory and Mythical Immortal. The first six tiers are split into divisions, and each division takes 3 to 5 stars depending on the tier. A win gives a star and a loss takes one away. From Mythic upward there are no divisions, only a running star count: around 25 stars for Mythical Honor, 50 for Mythical Glory and 100 for Mythical Immortal. Star-Raising Points and protection cards can save a star on a loss below Mythic. The current season, Season 42, started on September 16, 2026.
All MLBB ranks in order
| Tier | Divisions | Stars per division |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | III to I | 3 |
| Elite | III to I | 4 |
| Master | IV to I | 4 |
| Grandmaster | V to I | 5 |
| Epic | V to I | 5 |
| Legend | V to I | 5 |
| Mythic | None | 0 to 24 stars |
| Mythical Honor | None | 25 to 49 stars |
| Mythical Glory | None | 50 to 99 stars |
| Mythical Immortal | None | 100 stars and up |
Warrior is the gentle start: losses there do not cost stars. Things get slower from Grandmaster, where each division takes five stars. Legend alone is 25 stars of net wins from Legend V to Mythic.
Moonton does not publish an official threshold table for the Mythic tiers. The 25, 50 and 100 marks are what the community has documented for years and what current guides use. Check your in-game rank screen if a season changes them.

How Mythic works
Mythic is where the rules change. Divisions disappear, and your progress becomes one number that goes up and down with each game. Guides call it Mythic stars or Mythic points. They mean the same counter.
- Placements. The first time you reach Mythic in a season, you play a set of placement matches, 10 according to current guides, that decide where you start inside the 0 to 24 star range. How well you play in them counts, not only whether you win.
- After placements. Wins add to the counter and losses take from it. Guides note the amount can depend on performance rather than being a flat one star every time.
- No safety nets. Star-Raising Points and protection cards do not work at Mythic or above. Every loss counts.
This is why the jump from Legend I to Mythic feels so different. Below Mythic you have buffers. Above it you do not.
Star protection: SRP and cards
Below Mythic there are three ways a loss can cost you nothing.
Star-Raising Points (SRP)
Each ranked loss adds to an SRP bar. Strong play in a loss can fill it faster, and so can losses in a row. When the bar reaches 100%, your next loss does not cost a star, and the bar resets. It triggers on its own.
Star Protection Card
A card that blocks one star loss. It lasts 7 days from when you get it. You can hold several, and one is used per loss.
Rank Protection Card
This one does not save stars. It stops you dropping to the tier below when you are at 0 stars in a division and lose.
Protection rules and how you earn the cards change between seasons and events, so the in-game ranked notice is the final word.
Season length and resets
MLBB seasons run for roughly three months. Season 41 ended and Season 42 started on September 16, 2026. When a new season starts, your rank drops on your first login. You do not go back to Warrior. Community reset charts show drops like these:
- Mythic falls to around Epic.
- Mythical Glory and Mythical Immortal both fall to Legend V.
- Lower tiers drop a few divisions, for example Grandmaster V to Master I.
Moonton does not publish this table officially, so treat it as a guide. The main point holds: the higher you finish, the less you have to replay.
Climbing tips that fit the system
- Use the buffers below Mythic. If you just burned SRP or a card, take a break before the next match.
- Treat Mythic placements like finals. They set your whole Mythic starting point, and performance counts.
- Play a small hero pool. Two or three heroes in one role win more than flexing badly in draft.
- Climb before the reset. A finish in Mythical Glory and one in Mythical Immortal both reset to Legend V, so the final push matters most below Glory.
Getting help with a climb
Account sharing breaks Moonton's terms, so a boost where someone logs into your account always carries some risk. If you want to keep control, an MLBB duo boost puts a pro in your party while you play. If you are about to hit Mythic, Mythic calibration covers the placement games that set your starting stars.
For a climb from your current tier to a target, see the MLBB rank boost page. A pro from the team plays your matches, you can appear offline, and every game shows up in the live order chat.
