Lost Ark Kazeros raids: item level and gold explained

Published 29 October 2026 · 7 min read · by the Next Level Boost team

The Kazeros raids are Lost Ark's main gold source at the top of the game. On the NA and EU servers, Normal mode starts at item level 1660 for Act 1 (Aegir) and goes up to 1710 for the Final Day, while Hard mode asks for 1680 to 1730. Each gate you clear pays gold, part of it can be spent to open a bonus chest, and only a limited number of characters per roster earn gold each week. This guide covers the item level for every act, how the gold rules work, and what the Extreme and Solo modes change. Figures are from the official July 2026 patch page and community reward data updated for the September 2026 patch.

The Solo mode levels for Act 4 (1700) and the Final Day (1710) are confirmed on the official Summer of Extremes page. The rest of the table comes from Lost Mokokos, which builds on a community rewards spreadsheet and was last updated in September 2026.

Since July 2026 the Final Day no longer requires an Act 4 clear. You can enter once you finish the Adventure Quest "Path of Destiny" and meet the item level.

How Kazeros raid gold works

We are not printing a gold figure per gate here. Community sources disagree on the totals for the same raid, which usually means the numbers were changed in a patch and not every table caught up. The rules below are stable, and the in-game reward preview always shows the current amount.

Gold per gate

Each raid is split into gates, and every gate you clear pays its own gold. Hard pays more than Normal, and later acts pay more than earlier ones. You do not have to clear every gate to get paid for the ones you finish.

Bonus chests

After each gate you can spend gold to open a bonus reward chest, which mostly holds honing materials. This is a trade, not free loot. If you are saving gold, skip the chests. If you are pushing item level, compare the chest cost with market prices for the same materials before you buy.

Gold-earning characters

Not every character on your roster earns raid gold. The official Lost Ark Academy guide says up to six characters can earn gold from weekly activities. Each of those characters can only earn gold from a limited number of raids per week, shared across all endgame content. Pick your most rewarding raids for each character first, so the weekly limit is spent on the clears that pay the most.

Solo mode pays bound gold

Solo mode lets you clear an act on your own at the Normal item level. It shares the same weekly gold limit, but the official patch notes say 50% of the gold from each gate is paid as character-bound gold. Bound gold can be used on that character, but it cannot be traded or sent to your main.

Gold rules apply per character, so most players run the Kazeros acts on several alts each week.

Kazeros Extreme modes

Extreme modes are limited-time versions of the Kazeros acts that rotate as events. Act 1 Extreme arrived with the July 15, 2026 update. The official rewards:

Act 1 ExtremeItem levelGoldCoin of Fire and Ice
Normal172020,000150
Hard175045,000200
Nightmare177045,000200

Act 2 Extreme followed with the same structure. Extreme modes allow one entry per roster per week, shared between all difficulties, and the official notes say Act 1 Extreme gold is paid in full whether or not your weekly gold slots are used. A first Nightmare clear also gives a Legendary title. Check the event calendar in game for which act is running now.

Planning your week

  1. Rank your characters by item level. Your six gold earners should be the six highest.
  2. Give each one its best raids. Fill the weekly gold limit with the highest-paying raids each character can enter, usually the newest acts on Hard if the group is reliable.
  3. Use Solo mode for alts you cannot staff. Bound gold is still useful for that character's honing.
  4. Buy bonus chests on your main, skip them on alts. That way gold goes where item level matters most.

If finding groups for Hard is the bottleneck, our Lost Ark Kazeros raids service clears Acts 1 to 4 and the Final Day on Normal or Hard, one clear per character each week. For harder content, see Serca shadow raid clears and Horizon Cathedral runs.

You can join the group yourself in self-play, which keeps you on your own account. Piloted clears mean a pro plays your character with appear offline on, and that breaks the game's terms of service, so there is always some risk. Every clear is tracked in the live order chat.
