In EA SPORTS FC 27 Division Rivals, a win is worth 3 points, a draw 1 and a loss 0. Reach 15 points in a week to unlock base rewards for your division, and 30 points to unlock upgraded rewards. Rewards pay out on Thursday and are based on the division you are in when the week ends, so climbing higher divisions is what makes the payout bigger. Everything here is for FC 27, which launched worldwide on 25 September 2026.
How weekly Rivals points work
| Result | Points |
|---|---|
| Win | 3 |
| Draw | 1 |
| Loss | 0 |
- 15 points: base rewards. That is five wins.
- 30 points: upgraded rewards. That is ten wins.
- Beyond 30: extra games do not add to that week's rewards, but they still help you climb divisions for future weeks.
Points reset each week. Your division progress does not. It carries across the Rivals season, so every win counts toward a higher division even after you have locked in your weekly tier.
What draws do to your week
Draws are worth more than they look for the weekly target. Every draw adds 1 point, so three draws cover the same ground as one win. A week of eight wins and six draws still reaches the 30 point upgraded tier, even if it never felt like a good week. The catch is that draws do nothing for your division progress, so they help this week's rewards but not next week's.
Losses cost nothing toward the weekly target. A bad night does not undo the points you already have. It only slows the climb, which is why stopping after a few losses in a row is usually the smart move.
When rewards arrive
Weekly rewards unlock on Thursday morning UK time. Exact times quoted by different sites vary by an hour or so, and they shift by region, so use the countdown on your Rivals tile. Claim them from the Rivals screen.
Divisions and coin rewards
Rivals runs from Division 10 at the bottom to Division 1 and then Elite. Wins move you toward promotion, draws stall you and losses set you back.

FC 27 pays more coins than FC 26. These are the top division coin rewards listed for FC 27:
| Division | Base coins (15 pts) | Upgraded coins (30 pts) |
|---|---|---|
| Elite | 62,500 | 122,500 |
| Division 1 | 47,500 | 95,000 |
| Division 2 | 35,000 | 72,500 |
| Division 3 | 25,000 | 52,500 |
| Division 4 | 17,500 | 37,500 |
Coins are only part of it. EA's own example for a Division 1 upgraded reward was 95,000 coins plus several gold player packs, a player pick, a Giant Gold Pack and a TOTW Player Pack. EA also wanted bigger reward gaps between divisions this year, so the jump from Division 3 to Division 1 is worth chasing. Pack rewards from Rivals are tradeable in FC 27.
Rivals and Champions qualification
Rivals rewards include Champions Qualification Points (CQP), and higher divisions earn CQP faster. Two FC 27 changes matter a lot here:
- No Division 6 gate. In FC 26 you had to reach Division 6 to qualify for Champions. That requirement has been removed. Enough CQP qualifies you on its own.
- Squad Battles count too. CQP can now be earned through Squad Battles as well as Rivals.
So a player stuck in a low division can still reach the Champions Finals by stacking CQP from both modes. If that is your goal, see Champions qualification and Squad Battles help.
Season Points and bounties
- Season Points. Eligible matches give 15 to 100 Season Points each, depending on mode and result, with a cap of 850 per day. Rivals is one of the steadiest ways to fill that cap.
- Bounties. Random challenges attached to your next Rivals match return in FC 27 and show up more often. They give instant rewards on top of your weekly payout.
How to get more from Rivals each week
- Hit 30 points every week. The upgraded tier is roughly double the coins of the base tier at the top divisions.
- Keep playing after 30 if you are close to promotion. Next week's rewards depend on the division you finish in.
- Do not throw games for an easier division. Rewards scale with division, and higher divisions also earn CQP faster.
- Play when you are fresh. Rivals matchmaking is skill based. Tired late-night sessions cost more points than they win.
- Stack CQP early. Mix Rivals and Squad Battles so Champions qualification is never a last-minute rush.
Getting help with Rivals
A Rivals order means a pro from our team plays your matches on your account with appear offline, while you follow every result in the live order chat. That is account sharing, which breaks EA's user agreement, so weigh that risk before you order. Every game is tracked, and you can get a refund before work starts.
