ARC Raiders blueprint farming guide

Published 29 October 2026 · 7 min read · by the Next Level Boost team

Blueprints in ARC Raiders unlock crafting recipes, and you farm them mostly by looting the right container types, finishing certain quests and trials, and raiding during major map conditions such as Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm, where the rarer ones drop. Once you extract with a blueprint, you learn it in Speranza and can craft that item at your workshop from then on. This guide covers where each kind of blueprint comes from, which ones need special conditions, and how to plan your raids around them. It reflects the game and the community wiki as of late October 2026.

How blueprints work

A blueprint is a physical item you find in a raid. You have to extract with it to keep it, so dying with one in your backpack loses it like any other loot. Back in Speranza, you open it and choose Learn and Consume. The item is destroyed and the recipe is added to your crafting list for good. Learned blueprints get a check mark and cannot be consumed again.

Some recipes then need an upgraded workshop bench before you can actually craft them. Learning a weapon blueprint early is still worth it, because the recipe waits for you until the bench catches up.

Every blueprint can be sold for 5,000 coins. That makes duplicates a decent source of money, and it means you should never drop one on the floor to make space.

Where blueprints come from

The community wiki lists four main sources: scavenging, trials, quests and projects. Scavenging is the one you control from raid to raid.

Container types

Container type decides what kind of blueprint you are likely to see. This is the most useful rule for farming, because it tells you which rooms to visit for the blueprint you want.

ContainerBlueprint types it favours
Raider containersWeapons and gun parts
Industrial containersExplosives
Medical containersMedical items
Security containersAugments
Electrical containersUtilities

Embark does not publish drop rates, so treat the table as a direction, not a guarantee. Players also report good blueprint luck in locked key rooms, so open them when you carry the key.

ARC Surveyors

ARC Surveyors can drop blueprints when destroyed. The wiki describes these drops as seemingly random, so they are a bonus rather than a route.

Quests and trials

A few blueprints only come from quests. Hullcracker is a reward from The Major's Footlocker, and Lure Grenade comes from Greasing Her Palms. If you want either one, scavenging will not help: do the quest.

Trials are the safety net. Every blueprint in the scavenging loot pool can also show up as a trial reward. If a specific drop keeps missing you, pushing weekly trials gives you more rolls without relying on container luck.

Map conditions and rare blueprints

This is where most farming time goes. Several blueprints only drop while a specific map condition is active:

The wiki also notes that blueprints for rare and epic items turn up more often during double-value major map conditions. When one of those is live, it is the best time to run the containers that match the blueprint you want.

A simple farming plan

  1. Pick one target. Look up what kind of item it is, then decide which container type to hunt.
  2. Check its condition. If it is a condition-only blueprint, wait for that condition. Raiding normal maps for Tempest or Wolfpack wastes time.
  3. Route through matching rooms. Plan a path that hits as many of the right containers as possible, then extract. Blueprints only count if you get out.
  4. Use trials for stubborn drops. Weekly trials add extra chances on top of scavenging.
  5. Learn right away. Consume blueprints as soon as you are back, and sell duplicates for coins.

Raiding alongside a stronger player speeds this up, mainly because you extract more often. A raid carry puts a pro on the map you pick, and you can come along in self-play mode.

Expeditions and your blueprints

An Expedition is the optional reset that trades your raider's progress for permanent account bonuses. Learned blueprints are part of what it wipes. Guides on Shacknews and Gfinity list blueprints and learned blueprints among the reset items, together with stash, coins, level, skill points, workshop progress and quests. Cosmetics, unlocked maps, codex entries, trials progress and Raider Tokens carry over.

Right now that matters less. Embark paused Expeditions after the fifth one, which departed on September 29, 2026, and said the system would return in early 2027 after bigger changes. Blueprints you learn now will stay with your raider at least until the next Expedition opens, and joining one is always your choice.

Getting blueprints done for you

If you would rather skip the container grind, our ARC Raiders blueprints service farms and learns the blueprints you name on your account. Rare ones like Tether Launcher take longer, so we confirm those in the order chat before starting. Once you have the recipes, workshop upgrades gets your benches high enough to craft them.

Be aware that letting someone else play on your account breaks Embark's terms of service, so there is always some risk. Raiding together in self-play keeps you on your own account and is the lower-risk choice. Every raid is tracked, and you can follow along in the live order chat.

Quick answers

How do you learn a blueprint in ARC Raiders?

Extract with it, then open it in Speranza and choose Learn and Consume. The item is used up and the recipe stays in your crafting list.

Where is the best place to farm blueprints?

Wherever the matching container type is. Raider containers for weapons, security containers for augments, industrial for explosives, medical for healing and electrical for utilities.

Why can't I find the Tempest or Wolfpack blueprint?

They are condition-locked. Tempest drops during major map conditions and Wolfpack during Night Raid.

Do you lose blueprints on an Expedition?

Yes. Learned blueprints are wiped with the rest of your raider's progress. Expeditions are paused until early 2027.

What are duplicate blueprints worth?

Every blueprint sells for 5,000 coins.
